Welcome!
Here
is a little background: I was born in Nevada and reared in Hawaii
and California, earning degrees at Pacific Union College (BA), Claremont
School of Theology (DMin) and Claremont Graduate University (PhD). I
am the father of three adult children. My wife, Bronwen F. Larson,
is from England and Australia.
I
teach in the School of
Religion at Loma Linda University. My primary area of interest is Christian
ethics. I have edited one book and I'm in the process of editing two
more. I have also published a number of papers and reviews.
This
web site is wholly distinct from LLU and
from the Seventh-day Adventist Church in which I consider it a privilege
to be a minister. I am solely responsible for its content.
I
enjoy this project for several reasons. One is that I think that those of us who are Christians but not
fundamentalists need to be more visible and audible. Everyone
benefits when are seen and heard too.
